Since 2006, a celebrity has led the Ross-Ade Stadium crowd in singing "Shout" (made famous by Otis Day and the Knights in the movie "Animal House") between the third and fourth quarters. The celebrities have included astronauts Neil Armstrong and Gene Cernan; Olympic gold medalists David Boudia and Terry Dischinger; NFL Pro Bowlers Mike Alstott, Drew Brees, Jim Everett, Ryan Kerrigan and Matt Light; Pro Football Hall of Famers Bob Griese and Rod Woodson; former men's basketball coach Gene Keady; National Spelling Bee champion Sameer Mishra; NCAA career receptions leader Taylor Stubblefield; former football coach Joe Tiller; and College Football Hall of Famers Otis Armstrong, Mark Herrmann, Leroy Keyes and Mike Phipps.
