2014 - The Boilermakers spent the entire regular season among the nation's top 25, put together a 22-10 record and finished fifth in Big Ten play, but were left out of the NCAA Tournament field. ... the team played 11 matches against teams selected to the NCAAs, including four against seeded teams ... the Boilermakers posted two wins over AVCA Top 25 teams, five wins against the RPI Top 50 and five wins over foes selected to the field, but were doomed by an RPI of 56 and down seasons by some of its non-conference foes ... the team's Sept. 26 win over Michigan marked the 800th in program history, providing another highlight ... senior setter/outside hitter Val Nichol and junior outside hitter Annie Drews were named honorable mention All-America selections by the AVCA and also to the All-Big Ten team, while middle blocker Danielle Cuttino was named to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team ...
