WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - After welcoming over 1,000 campers to the Purdue campus in 2007, the Boilermaker volleyball team has announced its 2008 camp dates.

Purdue will host a general skills camp, July 11-13, an elite camp, July 14-16, and a team camp, July 18-20.

General skills camp, open to athletes aged 11 to 18, teaches the mechanics of excellent fundamental volleyball skills.

Elite camp is designed to help campers, age 14 to 18, sharpen their skills at specific positions.

Team camp allows each team from grades nine through 12 court time with a staff member to help develop the players as a group. Each team's coach also takes part in the camp as well as a seminar aimed at developing the high school coach.
