Big Ten Video Preview

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - After splitting their first two Big Ten matches of the season on the road last weekend, the Purdue volleyball team returns home for their conference home opener on Friday, Sept. 28, against Ohio State.

It will be the first home match for the Boilermakers in four weeks. With their record standing at 8-5 overall, 1-1 in the conference, head coach Dave Shondell knows it is important that his team continue to get better from game to game.

This weekend will provide a good opportunity for that, when Ohio State and No. 3 Penn State come to West Lafayette.

Boilermaker All-Access caught up with coach Shondell to talk about how playing in front of a home crowd in the Boiler Box is a special experience.

Purdue and Ohio State get under way at 7:00 p.m. Friday. The Boilermakers host Penn State on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 8:00 p.m. For ticket information, visit purduesports.com or call the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-49-SPORT.
