WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilermaker volleyball team continues to garner the national spotlight, earning the No. 7 spot on Monday's AVCA Coaches' Poll, tying the program's highest ever listing, a No. 7 ranking from Nov. 14, 1983.

The Boilermakers moved up two spots from their No. 9 preseason ranking, which marked the program's best starting listing, topping a No. 10 preseason rank in 1984.

Purdue went 3-0 at its own Mortar Board Premier last weekend, topping then-No. 21 Northern Iowa, George Washington and Pittsburgh.

The Boilermakers are set to face No. 12 Washington, Rice and LSU in Baton Rouge, La., this weekend.
