WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilermakers will play 16 home matches in 2014, facing 10 NCAA Tournament teams from 2013 as well as seven teams that finished the season in the AVCA Top 25.
Day 2 of the Active Ankle Challenge Tournament will be played in Mackey Arena, with the 8 p.m. contest between Purdue and Notre Dame being the marquee matchup, airing live on the Big Ten Network. Make sure to mark your calendar to help us pack Mackey for the event. Tickets are just $5 for lower bowl seats and $2 for upper bowl seating. A combined ticket package will get you into the football game vs. Southern Illinois and the Notre Dame match. The combined package including an upper bowl seat is $16 for adults or $6 for youth, while one including a lower bowl ticket is $18 for adults and $8 for youth.
The volleyball and football teams share a competition date on two other occasions in 2014: August 30 and September 27. With the football double dip promotion, use your football game ticket stub to receive $2 admission to the evening's volleyball match.
Other important dates and promotions to circle on the calendar are below.
The Boilers open the season with a 10 a.m. Aug. 29 contest. Start your morning with the team and come back at 6:30 p.m. for the Block Party Tailgate, an hour before the team's opening night matchup with San Diego, which played in the Sweet 16 a year ago. The free event for students will feature Puccini's pizza and drinks, tailgate games, music and Block Party T-shirt pickups.
Bring out your best Boiler Blackout outfit as we try to black out Holloway Gymnasium when Indiana comes to Belin Court on Oct. 8 for the annual Monon Spike battle.
Our annual Youth Clinic will take place the morning of Oct. 18. The first 100 fans to RSVP after September 1 to email@example.com will be registered for a free youth clinic, available to youth eighth grade and under. Each participant also will receive a free T-shirt and a free general admission ticket to the evening's match vs. Ohio State.
Join Purdue volleyball in the first against breast cancer as we raise money for the Purdue Center for Cancer Research with our annual Dig for a Cure night on Oct. 29. The first 500 fans will receive a free pink T-shirt. All other fans also are encouraged to wear pink for the event, which also has been designated as Purdue's social media night game.
Keep Halloween going an extra day by participating in our Halloween costume contest in Holloway on Nov. 1. Admission is just $2 for anyone in costume.
Nov. 15 is our Boilermaker Kids Club match. All Boilermaker Kids Club members will receive two free tickets to the match against Northwestern.
