WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilermaker volleyball team are slated to play in four nationally televised matches on the Big Ten Network during the 2008 season, including three at home on Belin Court.

The squad will hit the small screen for the first time on Wednesday, Oct. 22, when its 8 p.m. (ET) contest with Illinois is broadcast live from Champaign, Ill.

The Big Ten Network visits Belin Court on Saturday, Nov. 1, for the Boilermakers' 7 p.m. match with the Michigan Wolverines. The BTN returns to the West Lafayette for back-to-back broadcasts on Saturday, Nov. 15, and Wednesday, Nov. 19. Purdue will face defending national champion Penn State in the the weekend contest, while a rematch with Illinois makes for the midweek date. Both matches will air live at 7 p.m. ET.

The Boilermakers made four television appearances in both 2006 and 2007, as the team extended its string of NCAA Tournament berths to four in a row.

The 2008 team, which features 10 returning players and five newcomers, kicks off its drive for a fifth-straight NCAA appearance at its own Mortar Board Premier August 29-30.
