WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilermaker volleyball team continues its spring slate at the Indy Collegiate Invitational at the Capitol Sports Center in Plainfield, Ind., on Saturday. Purdue will face off with Bowling Green, Kentucky and Valparaiso at the tournament, which is hosted by the Circle City Volleyball Club.
The Boilermakers will begin the day with a 9 a.m. match against Bowling Green, which finished the 2007 season 21-10. Up next for Purdue is a 10:15 a.m. contest against Kentucky, which went 22-10 last season en route to its third-straight NCAA Tournament berth. Following a lunch break, the Boilermakers will face the Valparaiso Crusaders, which posted a 21-10 mark in the fall, in a 12:45 p.m. contest. Purdue will play one more match at 2 p.m. against a yet to be determined opponent. Other teams competing in the invitational are Albany, Pittsburgh, Dayton and Indiana.

Boilermaker fans will have an opportunity to see the team in action within the friendly confines of the Intercollegiate Athletic Facility next Saturday, April 12. Saint Louis, Indiana State, Michigan, Valparaiso, IUPUI, Ohio State, Western Michigan and DePaul round out the field for the event.
