Women's Tennis Travels to Midwest Blast

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue women’s tennis team will compete in its final tournament of the fall season Friday – Sunday at the Midwest Blast hosted by Illinois. In addition to the Illini, the Boilermakers will take on Missouri and Wake Forest during the three-day event.

The tournament will feature a hidden dual-match format, meaning each team will play each other once in singles and doubles, though a particular team will not play singles and doubles against the same team on the same day.

Purdue will open Friday’s slate with doubles against Wake Forest at 9 a.m. CT and then take on Missouri in singles action at 10 a.m. Doubles against Illinois at 3:30 p.m. rounds out the first day.

On Saturday the Boilermakers will face Missouri in doubles at 9 a.m., followed by singles against Wake Forest at 10 a.m. A singles battle with the Illini at 11 a.m. on Sunday will conclude the tournament.

Sunday, Nov. 3
8 a.m. - Missouri vs. Wake Forest (singles)
11 a.m. - Illinois vs. Purdue (singles)
