WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue women's tennis team will return to the courts at the Yale Invite in New Haven, Conn., Friday-Sunday. Seven additional teams are slated to play in the three-day round-robin tournament: Boston College, Brown, Dartmouth, Iowa, Penn State, Virginia Tech and the host, Yale.

The tournament will feature team play with each matchup between teams consisting of four flights of doubles or eight flights of singles. Despite the team format, players will earn points on an individual basis, with the points allotted for each win weighted according to the match's position in the flight. Singles and doubles champions will be named at the end of the tournament.

Leading the way for the Boilermakers this weekend will be juniors Daniela Vidal and Lynda Xepoleas. Sophomores Tess Bernard-Feigenbaum and Claudia Escribens, along with the freshmen trio of Natalia Davila, Nicole Robinson and Andjela Djokovic, are all slated to compete as well.
