WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue women's swimmer Lisa Dolansky was named the Women's Big Ten Co-Swimmer of the Week today for her performances against Iowa and Ohio State last weekend. Purdue defeated the Hawkeyes 159.5-139.5 and the Buckeyes 222-75 to sit at 3-1 (2-0 Big Ten).

Dolansky, a junior from Rahway, N.J., tallied four first-place finishes to lead the Boilermakers to their defeats of both Big Ten opponents in the opening weekend of Big Ten competition. Her four firsts were the most of any Boilermaker.

In the 200 backstroke, she recorded a season-top time of 2:03.25. Her other top finishes were in the 100 back, as the first leg of the 200 medley relay and as the lead-off leg of the 400 free relay.

Dolansky shares this week's honor with Jenny Lyman from Wisconsin.
