Nationally Ranked Swimming & Diving Teams Complete Day Two At Quad Meet

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The nationally ranked Purdue Boilermaker swimming and diving teams completed Day Two of competition at the annual Quad Meet Duals in Minneapolis on Saturday.

The No. 18 men's team fell to No. 6 Minnesota, 240-113, and No. 10 Wisconsin by five points. With the losses, the Boilermaker men fall to 7-4, 2-4 Big Ten.

The No. 21 women's team defeated the Illinois women, 230-122, fell to Minnesota, 211-142, and fell to the No. 10 Wisconsin women. With the win and two losses, the Boilermakers move to 7-3-1, 3-3 Big Ten.

The men of the Old Gold and Black will return to the water on Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Boilermaker Aquatic Center when they host the Indiana Hoosiers at 2 p.m. The women will return home to train for the 2003 Big Ten Championships on Feb. 19-22. The women's championships will be hosted by Purdue at the Boilermaker Aquatic Center.
