Luke Meador is in his second season as a member of the Purdue swimming and diving staff, serving as diving administrative coordinator and assisting head diving coach Adam Soldati. He was hired in September 2012.

Meador's duties at Purdue include general administrative responsibilities, running diving meets for competition and assisting in anyway needed to help the diving teams run smoothly. He is also the head coach for the Boiler Diving Academy sports club.

Meador joined Purdue after founding Indy Area Diving in Indianapolis. There he also served as the diving coach at Avon High School in Avon, Ind. Before his time in Indianapolis, from 2005-10 he was the diving coach at his alma mater, Floyd Central High School in Floyds Knobs, Ind.

Currently, Meador is finishing a master's degree in biochemistry at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. Prior to his graduate work, Meador earned a bachelor's in chemistry and business management in 2009 and a bachelor's in biochemistry in 2010 from Indiana University Southeast. During his time at IUS he served as a supplemental instructor, teaching assistant and mathematics lab tutor. He was named to the Dean's List from 2005-10 and was the recipient of the IUS Paul Ogle and Malcholm Kochert Chemistry Scholarships.

Meador competed at the University of Louisville under Coach Mike Zehnder during the 2006-07 college season. He is married to Kaitlin Elizabeth Meador. The couple currently resides in Indianapolis, but plans to move to the Lafayette area soon.
