2014-15: Distinguished Big Ten Scholar… Academic All-Big Ten… Lyon competed primarily in the distance freestyle events and the 400 IM… season-best times in the 200 (1:49.11, 5th), 500 (4:50.13, 5th), 1000 (10:07.48, 4th) and 1650 free (16:55.48, 5th) as well as with the 400 IM (4:23.76, 4th) all ranked among the top five on the team in 2014-15… winner of the team’s P2S award for dedication to the program’s core values… continues to rank among the Purdue all-time Top 10 in the 200 (1:48.11, 10th) and 500 free (4:47.14, 9th) as well as the 400 IM (4:19.76, 8th)… posted her season-best times in the 200, 500 and 1650 free at the Big Ten Championships, qualifying for the C final of the 500… accounted for 23 team points by scoring in four different individual events at the Ohio State Invitational, helping Purdue win the meet… qualified for the A final for the 500 free and finished 11th overall in the mile at Ohio State… was the runner-up in the B finals of the 200 free and 400 IM at Ohio State, posting her season-best time in the 400 IM… swam on victorious freestyle relay teams at the Indiana Intercollegiates and in the dual meet win vs. Michgian State… won her heat and finished third overall in the 100 back at the Indiana Intercollegiates.

Lyon competed primarily in the distance freestyle and IM events... season-best times in the 200 (1:48.11, 4th), 500 (4:47.14, 3rd), 1000 (10:07.79, 3rd) and 1650 free (16:43.49, 3rd) along with the 400 IM (4: 21.11, 4th) all ranked among the top five on the team in 2013-14... moved up to eighth place in program history in the 200 free and seventh in the 500 free... season-best times in the 200, 500 and 1650 free were at the Big Ten Championships... top time in the 1000 free was in the dual meet win vs. Michigan... competed in IM events in the dual meet win against Michigan State as well as the Indiana Intercollegiates and Ohio State Invitational... accounted for three team points at the Big Ten Championships by qualifying for the B finals of the 200 and 500 free... won the C final of the 400 IM at the Ohio State Invitational, where she also qualified for the C final of 500 free... won heat 1 of the 500 free at the Big Ten Triple Duals... also had a season-best time of 51.85 in the 100 free at Ohio State.

Lyon competed primarily in the 500 freestyle... also swam the 200, 1000 and 1650 free and both IM events... posted Purdue's season-best time in the 400 IM (4:19.76) at the Big Ten Championships, placing third in the C final... her 400 IM time also ranked sixth fastest in program history... season-best times in the 500 free (4:51.01) and 1650 free (16:53.14) from Big Tens also ranked among the top five for Purdue in 2012-13... also qualified for C final of the 500 free at Big Tens... accounted for 30 team points at the Purdue Invitational by placing fifth in the A final of the 400 IM, seventh in the A final of the 500 free and 13th overall in the mile... won heat 4 of the 500 free in the prelims at the Purdue Invitational... won the 500 free at the Indiana Intercollegiates... posted a time of 1:51.10 in the 200 free at the Boiler-Make-It NCAA Last Chance meet.
Before Purdue: Lyon was a four-year Indiana state qualifier for coaches Scott Kulby and Eric Meyer at Zionsville High School... helped her 400 free relay team win the state title as a senior... school-record holder in the 500 free and 400 free relay... state meet qualifier in the 200 and 500 free... helped Zionsville finish as the state runner-up as a senior... qualified for the championship final of the 200 free at the state meet her senior year... helped ZHS win four straight sectional titles... team captain and John Crist Workhorse Award as a senior... two-time mental attitude award winner as an upperclassman... sportsmanship award winner as a sophomore... won the 500 free at the 2011 Indiana Senior State meet as a part of the Zionsville Swim Club... also achieved Junior National standards at the club level... ranked among the top 20 students in her academic class all four years of high school.
