2013-14: Halkides competed primarily in the 100 breaststroke... season-best times in the 100 (1:06.03, 4th) and 200 breast (2:30.65, 5th) both ranked among the top five on the team in 2013-14... recorded her best times of the season in the 100 breast (1:06.03 in finals, 1:06.18 in prelims) at the Boiler-Make-It NCAA Last Chance meet... competed in the 100 breast and 200 IM in the dual meet victory vs. Michigan State... raced in the 200 breast in the dual meet win vs. Michigan... competed in the 100 breast and 200 back in the Big Ten Triple Duals.

2012-13: Redshirted

Before Purdue: Halkides swam for Fast Lane Aquatics coached by Alec Rukosuev in the United States; she also competed as a member of the Greek National Team coached by Nikos Gemelos... ranked 18th in FINA's 400 SCM IM world rankings in 2009... In her native Greece, set 11 national records and was awarded the key to the city and mayor's award of Aegina, Greece... competed at World Cup meets in Moscow and Berlin, placing as high as seventh place... honored as the Florida Girls Swimmer of the Year... qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials in the 100 and 200 breaststroke and 200 and 400 IM.
