2010-11: Two-time Honorable Mention All-American (400 & 800 free relays)... NCAA Championships Qualifier... Second Team Academic All-District... Distinguished Big Ten Scholar... CSCAA Scholar All-American... Academic All-Big Ten... Gustafson competed primarily in the freestyle sprints and was among the team's top performers on relays... swam on the anchor leg on four of the five Purdue record-setting relays at the Big Ten Championships, all but the 200 medley... helped the 400 and 800 free relays score at the NCAA Championships, highlighted by a 15th-place showing for the 400 team... qualified for the C final of the 50 free (23.31) while posting a season-best time at Big Tens... also posted season-best times in the 100 (50.41) and 200 free (1:51.03) at Big Tens... her top times in all three freestyle sprints all ranked among the top five on the team, including third best in the 50 and 100... won the 100 backstroke in the dual meet victory at Michigan State... helped both the 200 and 400 free relays finish second at the Big Ten Quad... swam the anchor leg on the victorious 200 free relay in the dual meet win at Notre Dame and also helped the 400 free relay win in the dual victory at Northwestern... was part of each of three fastest 200 relay teams of the year... competed in the three freestyle sprints and the 100 back at the Purdue Invitational... qualified for the B final of the 50 and 100 free at the Purdue Invite... posted her season-best time in the 100 back (57.93) at the Boiler-Make-It Last Chance meet... recognized as a Ben Korschot Perseverance Award recipient at the 2011 Boilers Back in Action event. 2009-10: Clocked season-best times in all three events contested at Big Ten Championships...nabbed 50 freestyle time of 23.50 (2/18), 100 freestyle time of 51.15 (2/20) and 200 freestyle clocking of 1:52.11 (2/19)...opened season by swimming third leg on victorious 200 freestyle relay at Indiana Intercollegiates (10/10)...also finished second in 50 freestyle and third in 100 freestyle...led off victorious 200 freestyle relay vs. Michigan State (1/8)...also took second leg on winning 800 freestyle relay vs. Spartans (1/7)...swam to runner-up finish in 100 freestyle and anchored victorious 200 freestyle relay at Eastern Michigan (11/14)...also anchored second-place 200 medley relay and placed fourth in 200 freestyle at Eagles (11/13)...grabbed fourth in 50 freestyle vs. Northwestern (11/7) and at Indiana (1/23)...finished fourth in 200 freestyle at Miami (10/30)...swam third leg on runner-up 200 freestyle relay at Big Ten Quad (1/29)...swam second leg on runner-up 400 freestyle relay and finished 10th in 50 freestyle at Big Ten Quad (1/30).
