2014-15: Academic All-Big Ten… Einterz competed in the freestyle sprints and 100 fly… posted season-best times in the 100 (51.78) and 200 free (1:54.36) as well as the 100 fly (56.94) at the Ohio State Winter Invite… season best in the 50 free (24.25) came at the Ohio State Invitational… anchored the 400 free relay team to victory at the Ohio State Winter Invite… also finished among the top five in all three of her freestyle events at OSU in February, highlighted by a runner-up showing in the 100 free… qualified for the C final of the 50 and 100 free at the Ohio State Invitational, finishing second in the 100… won her heat of the 50 fly in the dual meet victory vs. Michigan State.
2013-14: Einterz competed in the freestyle sprints and 100 butterfly... posted season-best times in the 50 (24.03) and 100 free (51.89) along with the 100 fly (56.18) at the Big Ten Championships... also had strong times in the 50 (24.51) and 100 free (53.31) as well as the 100 fly (58.73) at the Ohio State Invitational... qualified for the C final of the 100 free at Ohio State.
Before Purdue: Einterz was a four-year varsity letter-winner for coaches Eric Meyer and Scott Kubly... six-time state finalist as an upperclassman, including individually in the 100 free in each of her upperclassman seasons... also part of state finalist relays in the 200 free, 400 free and 200 medley... helped ZHS finish as the 2012 runner up at the Indiana state meet... Zionsville also won four straight sectional titles and the 2012 conference title... most improved as a junior after winning a freshman award her first year... Speedo sectional qualifier with her Zionsville club team.
Personal: Full name is Grace Jean Einterz... born in Zionsville, Ind.... parents are Robert and Lea Anne Einterez... family also includes older siblings Rob, Zach, Seth and Frances as well as younger sister Abbie... dad was a three-sport athlete (football, wrestling, track and field) at Wabash College... mother, aunt Lori and cousin Laura are all Purdue alumni... majoring in apparel design and communications.
