2011-12: Distinguished Big Ten Scholar... CSCAA Scholar All-America Honorable Mention... Academic All-Big Ten... Gilson competed primarily in the backstroke events... U.S. Olympic Team Trials qualifier in the 200 back... co-winner of the team's Workhorse Award... her season-best times in the 100 (56.18, 4th) and 200 back (1:58.32, 1st) and 500 free (4:49.13, 4th) all ranked among the top five on the team in 2011-12... finished fourth in the B final of the 200 back with a season-best time at the Big Ten Championships to account for four team points... also posted season-best time in the 500 free at Big Tens... season-best time in the 100 back came while placing fourth in the B final at the Ohio State Invitational... also finished fourth in the A final of the 200 back at Ohio State, accounting for 19 ½ points in Columbus... posted seven individual victories... swept the backstroke events in Senior Salute dual meet win against Michigan State as well as the dual meet victory against Miami... won the 200 back on back-to-back days in the dual wins against Notre Dame and Northwestern... won the C final of the 500 free at Ohio State Invitational... finished her career ranked among the fastest in program history in the 100 (56.18, 9th) and 200 back (1:58.10, 2nd), 500 free (4:49.13, 9th) and 400 IM (4:18.76, 3rd) as well as the freshman-record holder in the 200 back (1:58.10).

2010-11: CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-American... Academic All-Big Ten... Gilson saw action in seven different individual events but saw her most action in the 200 back and 200 IM... her season-best times in the 100 (57.06, 3rd) and 200 back (1:59.82, 2nd), 200 (2:05.33, 3rd) and 400 IM (4:26.55, 2nd) and 500 free (5:01.81, 5th) all ranked among the top five fastest on the team in 2010-11... posted her season-best times in the 200 back and 200 and 400 IM at the Big Ten Championships... finished third in the C final of the 200 back at Big Tens... recorded her season-best time in the 100 back at the Boiler-Make-It Last Chance meet... posted her season-best time in the 500 free at the Indiana Intercollegiates... swam on the 800 free relay teams that posted the fourth and fifth fastest times on the team in 2010-11... helped the 200 free relay team win in the dual meet victory against Eastern Michigan... competed in the 200 and 500 free, 200 back and 200 IM at the Purdue Invitational, advancing to the C final of the 200 back... was among the eight swimmers selected to travel to Dallas for the SMU Classic in October, finishing second in the B final of the 500 free... continues to rank second in program history in the 200 back and 400 IM, freshman-record times from 2009... shared the team's workhorse award with Amy Gutwein and Lauren Roth.
