2016-17 / AS A FRESHMAN
• Competed primarily in the distance freestyle events
• Posted season-best times in the 200 (1:50.18), 500 (4:53.61) and 1,650 free (16:53.41) at the Big Ten Championships
• Recipient of the team's most improved award\
• 1,000 split (10:12.31) in the mile at Big Tens was also a season best; top time in the event was 10:22.52 in the Michigan State dual
• Won her heat of the 500 free at Big Tens
• Victorious in the 200 free and finished as the runner-up in the 500 at the Indiana Intercollegiates
• Accounted for 7 team points at Virginia Tech's H2Okie Fall Invitational, scoring in three events and qualifying for the B final of the 200 and 500 free

• Four-year varsity letterwinner for coach Butch Briggs at East Grand Rapids High School
• Also part of the East Grand Rapids Aquatics club team coached by her father Brandon
• Helped EGRHS win MHSSA Division II state titles in 2013 and 2014, finish as the Division III runner-up in 2015
• Part of state champion relay team in the pool and on the track
• MHSAA Division III state champion in the 500 free as a sophomore and junior
• Helped her 200 and 400 free relay teams win state title three years in a row
• Multiple-year all-state, all-area and all-conference honoree in swimming and track
• Established new conference records in the 200 and 500 free, 200 IM and both freestyle relays
• In track, helped her 4x800 relay team win the Division II state title as a junior
