2011-12: Fozkos competed primarily in the backstroke events and 50 free... season-best time in the 100 back (56.77) from the Ohio State Invitational ranked fifth best on the team in 2011-12... also posted a season-best time in the 200 back (2:12.71) at the Ohio State Invitational... season-best time in the 50 free was at the Boiler-Make-It NCAA Last Chance qualifier... runner-up in the C final of the 100 back at the Ohio State Invitational... also finished the 100 back in under one minute at the Ohio State Winter Invite... career-best time in 100 back from 2011 continues to rank 10th in program history.

2010-11: Fozkos competed primarily in the 50 free and 100 back... swam the 100 back in every meet in which she saw action... her season-best time in the 100 back (57.92), posted at the Big Ten Championships, ranked as the fifth fastest on the team in 2010-11... also posted season-best times in the 50 (24.30) and 100 free (53.55) at Big Tens... finished with sub-one minute times in the 100 back in the dual meet with Indiana (59.60) and Boiler-Make-It Last Chance meet (59.58)... competed in the 50 (24.53) and 100 free (55.10), 100 back and 100 fly at the Purdue Invitational, recording her second-fastest time of the year in the freestyle events.

Before Purdue: Four-year varsity letter-winner... won 12 state medals as a high school standout, four in 2008 and 2010, three in 2009 and one in 2007... also participated in cross country and track and field as a freshman... helped lead Chesterton to four consecutive conference and sectional team titles.

Personal: Full name is Brittany Leigh Fozkos... born in Hammond, Ind.... parents are Brian and Leigh Fozkos, who both attended Purdue... family also includes brothers Robert and Tyler and sister Ashley... majoring in organizational leadership.
