2012-13: Boylen competed primarily in the butterfly events... also raced in the 100 back four times... season-best times in the 100 (54.99, 5th) and 200 fly (2:01.45, 2nd) ranked among the fastest for Purdue in 2012-13... in program history, finished her career ranked sixth in the 100 fly (54.73 from 2012) and eighth in the 200 fly (2:01.45)... also posted a season-best time of 56.89 in the 100 back at the Big Ten Championships... qualified for the C final of both butterfly events at Big Tens... accounted for 16 team points at the Purdue Invitational by placing sixth in the A final of the 100 fly and third in the B final of the 200 fly... won heat five of the 100 fly prelims at the Purdue Invite... won heat three and finished second overall in the 100 back at the Indiana Intercollegiates.
2011-12: Boylen competed primarily in the butterfly events... U.S. Olympic Team Trials qualifier in the 100m fly... season-best times in the 100 (54.73, 2nd) and 200 fly (2:03.98, 3rd) ranked among the best the on the team in 2011-12... posted her season-best time in the 100 fly, which ranks fourth best in program history, at the while placing second in the C final at the Big Ten Championships, where she also competed in the 50 free... season-best time in the 200 fly came at the Ohio State Invitational... accounted for seven team points at the Ohio State Invitational, qualifying for the B final of both butterfly events... took third in the B final of the 200 fly at OSU... competed in the 200 free at the Indiana Intercollegiates.
Before Purdue: Swam at Utah her first two collegiate seasons, competing primarily in backstroke and butterfly events as well as relays... earned All-Mountain West Conference honors in the 100 fly as the a freshman after finishing eighth at the conference meet... won the 500 free in a dual meet against Air Force... four-year varsity letter winner at Marian High School was a two-time Indiana state champion in the 100 fly... won the 100 fly with the 10th-fastest time in the history of the Indiana state meet... competed in the 100 fly at the Speedo Junior Nationals... Kiwanis Award winner as a freshman and senior... also swam for the South Bend Swim Club.
