WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The new Purdue softball stadium is starting to look like home as grass was installed on the field and work continues on the building structures.
The sod was laid this week to give it time to take root and be set for the spring season.
Brick work continues on the pressbox and clubhouse areas with the goal of having everything enclosed before the winter weather hits to allow for work to continue throughout the winter months.
The Boilermakers are set to open the 2015 home season on March 20. The full schedule is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
