WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Boilermaker softball fans will have plenty of opportunities to get a look at the 2014 team during its fall season as Purdue is set for 11 games during September and October. The team will play its first game under new head coach Kim Schuette on Sept. 15, when it faces off with Lakeland and Purdue-Calumet at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

September 22 will take the Boilermakers to South Bend, Ind., for a noon contest with Notre Dame and a 2 p.m. meeting with Butler. On Sept. 29, Purdue returns home for a noon doubleheader with Danville. The team will play a noon doubleheader with Butler on Oct. 5, before wrapping up the fall campaign with a three game Black and Gold Series, Oct. 11-13.

Seventeen players return from the 2013 team, while five newcomers join the roster. Purdue is in its first year under Schuette after posting a 23-32 last season.
