WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Visible progress continues on the new Purdue softball complex on the northwest edge of campus. The project will be completed in time for the spring 2015 season.

As of August 8, the roof trusses are being set on the hitting facility and clubhouse areas. The light poles for field lighting are in. Retailing walls in front of the stadium are being poured and external masonry work continues on that area as well as the hitting facility and clubhouse areas. The steel erection of the pressbox building is in progress and concrete flooring for the second floor of the building should begin in the next week or so. Inside the stadium, concrete treads and risers for the bleacher areas have been completed.

The Boilermakers will play their fall season at the current facility in September and October.
