WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Construction of the new Boilermaker softball stadium continues with more visible progress each day. The project began in January and is scheduled to be completed in time for the 2015 season.

Concrete roofs have been added to both the first and third base dugouts. The outer concrete shell of the indoor/outdoor hitting facility are up and the concrete floor has been poured and leveled. Walls of the clubhouse are beginning to go up and the concrete floor of the facility has been poured and leveled.

In the coming weeks, work will continue on the clubhouse and hitting facility, while work on the groundwork of the pressbox area will begin and a pedestrian bridge spanning the area between Alexander Field and the new stadium will be constructed.
