WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue (2-16) is set to face five more opponents in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as non-conference play continues for the Boilermakers. Saint Francis, Oklahoma State, Pacific, UConn and Drake University are all on the docket in the Oklahoma State Hall of Fame Classic.

Purdue freshman Ryleigh Scott emerged in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to be a vital part of the Boilermaker offense as she hit .389 with seven hits, two runs and a stolen base over the course of five games. The effort lifts her to 20 hits in 60 at-bats (.333) on the season, making her the first freshman in the Big Ten to reach 20 hits this season.

Junior Kaitlynn Moody and redshirt freshman Sydney Bates hovered around a 3.00 ERA on the weekend with each pitcher registering a complete game. Bates threw 18.2 innings including a 9.2 inning effort against Florida Atlantic in which she only surrendered one earned run, and a complete game against No. 10 LSU in which she had the lead until the fifth inning. Of the six innings she threw, Bates allowed five earned runs and four came in the fifth. The Davie, Florida, native has struck out 18 batters looking this season which ranks second in the Big Ten.

The Boilermakers have enjoyed a lot of production out of the top two spots in the lineup with Mallory Baker hitting .424 in the leadoff spot, and Scott and Stephanie Ramsey hitting .381 and .290 respectively when either of them are in the two hole. Alexa Binckes is off to a slow start at the plate in the three spot but her on-base percentage has been impressive despite her .182 batting average. Thanks to 10 walks and seven times in which she has been hit by a pitch, Binckes owns a .410 on-base percentage this season.
