WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue (2-11) is set for its fourth weekend of non-conference play as it begins the LSU Invitational Friday, March 2, when it takes on FAU and McNeese State in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Boilermakers are coming off a three-game stretch in which they defeated the Czech Republic National Team, Savannah State and had No. 23 Kentucky on the ropes in the seventh inning.

Stephanie Ramsey is off to a hot start in her junior season, ranking among the five best hitters in the conference with a .400 batting average. She's one of 10 student-athletes in the conference with 16 hits or more with the Big Ten leader owning 19 hits on the season.

It hasn't mattered where Ramsey has hit in the lineup this season as she is hitting .320 with 25 at-bats in the two spot after beginning the season in the nine hole where she hit .583 with 12 at-bats.

Mallory Baker has shown off her power on 58-percent of her 12 hits this season as seven of them are for extra bases. Her seven extra-base hits are good for the third most in the conference and fuel her .667 slugging percentage.

The all-conference junior is hitting .529 since she's moved to the leadoff spot in the lineup. In 17 at-bats, Baker has earned nine hits, three doubles and a triple, with three runs batted in and as many runs scored.

Jenny Behan is tied for the sixth most extra-base hits in the conference with six in her first season as a Boilermaker. The junior is hitting .276 with eight hits, three doubles, a triple and a pair of home runs giving her a .655 slugging percentage.

Purdue's three power hitters have walked a combined 24 times and all rank among the top 13 in the conference. Alexa Binckes is tied for third in the Big Ten with nine walks on the year to go along with the conference-best four times she's been hit by a pitch. Baker and Behan rank tied for sixth and tied for 13th respectively as Baker has earned eight walks and Behan has earned a free pass seven times.

Together, Ramsey, Baker, Behan and Binckes all own on-base percentages north of .400 with Binckes and Baker both just above .460.
