WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilermaker softball team is set for three live appearances on the Big Ten Network in 2013, the BTN announced on Thursday. The network is scheduled to broadcast live from the Boilermaker Softball Complex at noon on Saturday, March 30 as the Boilermakers face the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Purdue softball team also will grace the small screen on April 17 as its 5 p.m. doubleheader with Penn State will air live from University Park, Pa.

The Big Ten Network also will be airing the semifinal games and championship game of the Big Ten Tournament in Lincoln, Neb. on May 11-12. This year marks the first year since 2008 that softball has held a conference tournament.

In addition to the games airing live on the Big Ten Network, eight other Purdue softball games will be available through the Big Ten Digital Network on BTN.com. All three games of the Boilermakers' Big Ten opening series at Michigan, March 22-24; the Friday and Sunday contests of the series at Indiana, April 12 and 14; and all three games of the Northwestern series in Evanston, Ill., April 26-28, will be available on BTN.com and purduesports.com.
