WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - DePaul softball alumna Ashley Perry has joined the Purdue Athletics staff as the supervisor of operations for softball and soccer. She has joined the Boilermakers in time for the softball program's second season under head coach Boo De Oliveira and will assist Drew Roff and the women's soccer program throughout the spring.
"We are so excited to welcome Ashley Perry to our Purdue athletics family," De Oliveira said. "She will be a great addition to the softball and soccer programs. Ashley has a championship pedigree, having competed for and worked within the DePaul Athletics Department. She will bring great operations job knowledge, energy, loyalty and local connections to both programs."
"We are excited to have Ashley here and look forward to having her as part of our team," Roff said. "Her background in athletics, her professional experience and her enthusiastic personality will be a great asset to our program."
Born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana, Perry has coached softball since 2005 when she graduated as an All-Conference USA honoree from DePaul. Most recently, she was the head coach of Lafayette Central Catholic Jr./Sr. High School and Indiana Magic 12U Fastpitch softball programs.
Perry worked primarily in operations throughout her time at DePaul, holding positions in the business office, ticket office and with the men's basketball program.
