ORLANDO, Fla. - Purdue (2-10) took down Savannah State (3-5) 11-1 after defeating the Czech Republic 11-3 in an exhibition contest at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Mallory Baker reached base each of her five at-bats against the Tigers.

Baker set the pace for the offense in the leadoff spot against Savannah State reaching base five times, driving in three runs and scoring two runs of her own on three hits and a pair of walks. Two of her hits were for extra bases as she doubled and tripled in the contest. She's now 7-for-11 on the weekend, raising her batting average to .313 on the year. Of her 10 hits in 2018, seven are for extra bases, giving her a .688 slugging percentage.

Kaitlynn Moody was masterful throughout the contest as she tossed a complete game, allowing just one earned run to Savannah State. She struck out 13 batters and allowed just one walk.

Stephanie Ramsey, Alexa Binckes, Emily Kenny and Ryleigh Scott enjoyed multi-hit efforts against the Tigers as well as Kenny tallied three hits while the rest each registered two. Binckes went deep in the seventh inning with a three-run bomb while Kenny and Ramsey each drove in a pair of Boilermakers.

Baker went deep against Czech Republic to spark an 11-run first for Purdue. Her run was the only earned run of the contest as the Czech Republic had five errors in the game. Jenny Behan capitalized with a bases clearing triple and scored a pair of runs in the game. Kenny picked up two hits in the game while Lexi Huffman and Halle Hixenbaugh each registered a hit. The three Boilermakers each registered an RBI and a run scored in the game.

Purdue used a committee of Sydney Bates, Lianna Mullins and Maddie Damon to hold off the Czech Republic in order to mercy the national team in five innings. Bates and Damon each threw two innings and were charged with an earned run while Mullins gave up an unearned run in her lone inning of work.

Purdue wraps up the Citrus Classic, Sunday, with the Kentucky Wildcats at 9 a.m. ET.
