2002: Started all 59 games in center field for the Boilermakers … was dubbed tournament MVP at the Boilermaker Invitational after tallying seven hits in nine at-bats and recording two RBI in games against Gardner-Webb, IPFW and Oakland … was 3-for-3 at the plate in the matchup with Gardner-Webb, recording an RBI single to left field, a single to short, a bunt and a stolen base … went 2-for-3 against IPFW with an RBI triple and a single … swiped a base while going 2-for-3 against Oakland with a pair of singles … tallied 52 hits and 20 RBI in 175 at-bats … was 13-of-16 on stolen base attempts … hit six doubles while walking 10 times … was fifth on the team with a .297 batting average.
