Boilers Back in Action

The Purdue Intercollegiate Athletics Department held its annual event on Sunday.

2014: Academic All-Big Ten ... saw action in 10 games, starting at catcher vs. Mississippi Valley State and as the designated player against No. 12 Minnesota ... acted mostly as a pinch hitter or pinch runner ... drove in an RBI against Mississippi Valley State ... scored the game winning run against Tennessee Tech ... drew a walk against No. 12 Minnesota ... made good on all six defensive chances.

2013: Academic All-Big Ten ... received team's Unsung Hero Award, given to the player who is dedicated, selfless and puts in the work that may go unnnoticed ... saw action in 14 games, earning her first career start at catcher vs. Sam Houston State ... also saw action at catcher against Texas A&M Corpus Christi and IUPUI ... acted mostly as a pinch runner ... grounded out in lone at-bat of the season ... scored two runs, the game winner vs. Valparaiso as well as one in the finale against Iowa ... made good on all 13 defensive chances for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.

2012: Academic All-Big Ten ... garnered Unsung Hero Award at postseason banquet ... saw action in 11 games, seeing time at catcher in three contests and as a pinch runner in eight ... scored four runs and stole two bases ... crossed the plate against Bryant, Belmont, UT-Martin and Penn State ... steals came against UT-Martin and San Diego State ... made good on two defensive chances with a putout against Northern Colorado and an assist against Niagara.

2011: Received Unsung Hero Award at postseason banquet ... acted mostly as a bullpen catcher ... saw action in 22 games mostly as a pinch runner ... scored five runs ... had three at-bats, one each vs. Buffalo, Hofstra and IUPUI.

High School: A two-time all conference selection at Aurora High School ... led team to the Chagrin Valley Conference and sectional titles as a senior captain under Jaclyn Spirtos, while garnering first team all-conference honors and earning the team's defensive MVP accolade ... received honorable mention all-conference honors and garnered the Coach's award while acting as team captain her junior year. Named as the team's defensive MVP as a sophomore ... graduated fifth in her class and was a member of the high honor roll.
