Student-Athlete Interns Announced

Eight student-athletes will intern throughout Purdue Athletics

2017 (Purdue, Junior):
  • Big Ten Sportsmanship Award
  • Made eight appearances last year as a pinch runner and scored two runs.
  • Missed most of conference play due to injury.

    2015 (Anderson, Freshman):
  • Saw action in nine games, posting a 4-5 record and 2.75 ERA in 20.1 innings of work.
  • Issued 13 strikeouts.
  • Recorded wins against Lesley, Kalamazoo, Defiance and Spalding.
  • Longest outing was six and two thirds innings against Thomas Moore on April 17, featuring four strikeouts in a 2-1 loss.

  • Three-time all-conference selection, earning first team honors as a junior and senior and second team accolades as a sophomore.
  • Three-time all-county selection, garnering recognition her last three years.
  • Earned Western's Outstanding Pitcher Award her freshman, junior and senior years.
