Casella played in all 19 games and started the final 15 games of the year... one of only six Boilers to see action in all 19 games... did not leave the field after joining the starting lineup in time for the Tennessee-Martin win, going the distance in 15 straight games... finished the year ranked third on the team in minutes played... defensive midfielder helped Purdue post shutout wins against Toledo, Tennessee-Martin, Evansville, Central Michigan and Northwestern.
