WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue women's golf team had a pair of alumnae earn their LPGA tour cards on Sunday, and one of them, Numa Gulyanamitta, did so in spectacular fashion by winning the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament with a final round four-under 68.

Gulyanamitta (71-73-70-68-68=350; -10) started the day in second place, four strokes behind Christine Song, the leader through the first four rounds, but the Rayong, Thailand, native took the lead on hole No. 10 and never looked back. It was Gulyanamitta's second-straight round of 68 at the LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla, giving her a two-stroke victory.

Maude-Aimee LeBlanc (75-71-71-71-72=360; E) finished tied for seventh at even-par for the day and the tournament. The top 20 finishers secured LPGA membership for 2012.

The former teammates were in the same threesome on Saturday and Gulyanamitta's sister Russy, who has Q-school and LPGA experience of her own, served as Gulyanamitta's caddy.

As juniors, Gulyanamitta, LeBlanc and Thea Hoffmeister led Purdue to the 2010 NCAA Championships, the first in the Big Ten or by any northern-based school for that matter. Last season as seniors, they threatened to repeat, finishing in second place at the 2011 NCAA Championships in Bryan, Texas.

Gulyanamitta finished her collegiate career with four tournament wins, including the 2011 Big Ten medal, which earned her the Big Ten Player of the Year, the Mary Fossum Award and her fourth first team All-Big Ten selection. After a tie for eighth at the NCAA Championships, Gulyanamitta was named second team All-American by the National Golf Coaches' Association and Golfweek.

LeBlanc struggled a bit as a senior by her own standards, but still picked up second team All-Big Ten and six top-15 finishes. In her junior season, LeBlanc was Purdue's top finisher en route to the NCAA title, with a tie for third in Wilmington, N.C. LeBlanc was named first team All-American by Golfweek and second team by the NGCA in 2010. She also earned the Mary Fossum Award as a junior and her third-straight first team All-Big Ten selection.

Gulyanamitta and LeBlanc join former teammates Christel Boeljon and Maria Hernandez in the professional ranks. Boeljon competes primarily on the Ladies European Tour and was a member of Europe's victorious Solheim Cup team. Hernandez has split time between the LPGA and the LET since winning the 2009 NCAA individual title but missed most of last season with an injury. The Pamplona, Spain, native has earned a medical from the LPGA for the upcoming season and awaits word from the LET.
