WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The 17th-ranked Purdue women's golf heads to Chicago on Monday and Tuesday for the 2013 Windy City Collegiate Classic, hosted by Northwestern at Northmoor Country Club. The 15-team field includes seven of the top-20 finishers from last year's NCAA Championships and seven teams ranked in the latest Golf World/WGCA Coaches' Poll.

The tournament will be the first team-scored event of the season for the Boilermakers, who got the fall slate started at the IU Fall Kickoff in early September. Junior Johanna Tillström posted the top score of the early season, shooting a 74-71-145 to tie for fourth place overall at the tournament, while sophomores Vinh-Hoa Ngo and Brooke Beegle placed 20th and 24th, respectively.

Junior Aurora Kan, the lone returning starter from last year's NCAA Championship third-place finish, is set to make her season debut on Monday. She'll be joined by Tillström, Ngo, Beegle and freshman August Kim in the Boilermaker lineup this week, and look to pick up where she left off with a 15th-place finish and back-to-back rounds of 71 to open the tournament.

Northmoor Country Club is a par-71, 6,108-yard course in Highland Park, Ill., where the Boilermakers will play two rounds on Monday and another 18 holes on Tuesday. A full tournament recap will be available at PurdueSports.com upon the conclusion of Tuesday's competition.
