WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The 10th-ranked Purdue women's golf team will host a six team tournament in North Augusta, S.C., on March 9 and 10th at the Mount Vintage Plantation Golf Club.
Purdue added the 54-hole, two-day tournament as a result of The Landfall Tradition being called after the first round due to weather conditions caused by Hurricane Sandy in late October.
The six teams participating in the Purdue Mount Vintage Invitational are Georgia Regents University (formerly Augusta State), Iowa State, Delaware, IUPUI and Coastal Carolina.
The tournament gets underway with tee times starting at 8 a.m. ET on Saturday, with continuous play for 36 holes and conclude with tee times beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday.
Purdue will spend spring break in the Augusta, Ga., area. After hosting the Purdue Mount Vintage Invitational, the Boilermakers will have several days of practice before competing in the Insperity Lady Jaguar Intercollegiate on March 15 to 17 at the Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga.
