Women's Golf Finishes in Second at Wolverine Invitational
ANN ARBOR, Mich.-- The 13-team Women's Wolverine Invitational concluded Sunday with the Purdue Boilermakers claiming second place behind the play of Senior Colleen Cashman and junior Angela Blythe. Going into Sunday's action, Purdue trailed second place Northwestern by two strokes but the play of Cashman and Blythe propelled them past Northwestern into second place. Cashman fired a third-round low of 75 as she and Blythe finished in a tie for fourth place in the individual standings. Indiana finished in first in the team standings by placing five golfers in the top ten. Senior Heather Hasselberg and sophomores Stacy Orschell and Kelly Beth Simmons also finished in the top 20 for Purdue.

Purdue will be in action again next weekend at the Lady Kat Invitational hosted by Kentucky.
