Women's Golf Finishes Second at Lady Kat Invitational
LEXINGTON, Ky.-Colleen Cashman and the Purdue Boilermakers Women's Golf team finished the weekend in second place at the 18-team Lady Kat Invitational hosted by the University of Kentucky. Cashman fired a three-over par 75 in the third round to lead her team as she finished in a tie for second in the individual standings, just two strokes behind Kasey Gant of Michigan State. Teammate Angela Blythe joined Cashman in the top ten by shooting a combined total of 228 over three rounds, including a one-over par 73 on Saturday. Purdue finished five strokes behind Kentucky in the team standings. The Boilermakers close out the fall season Oct. 20-21 at the San Diego State Fall Classic.
