Women's Golf Team Finishes Fourth in Florida Tournament

ORLANDO, Fla.-The Purdue women's golf team finished in fourth place at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational hosted by Rollins College. Campbell University won the 17-team invitational, followed by Indiana, Miami, Purdue and Florida Southern. Junior Angie Blythe and senior Colleen Cashman both finished tied for ninth after shooting a two round total of 155. Shanna Nagy of Florida Southern took medal honors with after firing an even-par 72 on the final day of competition, giving her a total of 148. Boilermaker junior Johanna Gollings tied for 19th while sophomore Stacy Orschell tied for 22nd. The women's team will continue action in Florida on March 12 at the Snowbird Invitational.
