Boilers in Eighth after Second Round at NCAA's

NORMAL, Ill. - The Purdue women's golf team shot a 325 in the second round of the NCAA Women's Golf East Regional in Normal, Ill., on Friday. The Boilermakers, who were tied for 11th place after the first round, are currently in eighth place with a 646, one stroke ahead of ninth-place Indiana. Ohio State is in front with a 629.

Juniors Heather Hasselberg and Coleen Cashman each shot a 79 in the second round. Hasselberg is in a three-way tie for 24th at 159, while Cashman and freshman Stacey Orschell are tied for 33rd with a two-round total of 162.

The final round of the tournament will be played Saturday, May 10.
