Wow, so much for me keeping up-to-date with this blog! Seems as though time got away from me. At any rate, we have been rather busy around here with camps, recruiting and all the other daily events that take up so much time. One thing that took some time was my annual 15 and 1/2 hour drive from Indiana to Bristol, New Hampshire. My in-laws have a camp on Newfound Lake and each summer my wife and kids go there for 6-7 weeks. So, I drive the car loaded with clothes, toys and the dog out there and drop everything off in the house. I then turn around and drive to the airport to meet them and, if lucky I board a plan shortly thereafter to return to Indiana. We have actually got it down to a science! If anyone is ever looking to drive out to the northeast from here, call me and I can tell you the best route to go as well as routes to avoid!
Well, we have finally squared away our summer recruiting trips and as with every other year, we will be traveling all around this great nation of ours. There are some events that we all look forward to attending for one reason or another, whether it be the weather in the locale or how smoothly and organized the event is. I personally always enjoy the Nike Summer Showcase held in the outskirts of Chicago in towns such as Schaumburg, Elgin and Bartlett. The community centers that those towns have are simply incredible!
