WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -
The Purdue women's basketball game against top-ranked Connecticut on Sunday, January 6, will be played at 1:30 p.m. in Mackey Arena. The game will be televised by CBS and is the first time the Boilermakers have had a live broadcast on the network since No. 7 Purdue defeated No. 13 Notre Dame on Jan. 4, 2003, in South Bend.
There was a possibility of a change to the game time due to the NFL wildcard schedule, but CBS announce the game will remain at 1:30 p.m.
The Boilermakers (5-7) play at Indiana and Connecticut (10-0) plays host to Army and travels to Villanova before the teams meet on Jan. 6.
This matchup marks the first time the Boilermakers have faced a top-ranked team in Mackey Arena since defeating No. 1 Tennessee 78-68 on Nov. 15, 1998.
