You are majoring in forensics and plan on becoming a crime scene investigator. What, besides a bachelor's degree in an applicable field, do you need to get a job on a CSI unit?
You need internships and lots and lots and lots of letters of recommendation. To get a higher-level position, you do need a master's degree or a Ph.D.

Are you planning on getting an advanced degree? If so, in what discipline?
I am planning on getting my master's at some point. I haven't decided in what field yet.

When you do realize your professional dream, do you want to work in a big city or in the 'burbs?
A big city. I want to go to Florida, so Miami would be great. If I can't start there, maybe I'll start somewhere like Virginia.

How many times per week do you watch Forensic Files on CourtTV?
Three times.

For those who don't know, why do you point your finger to the sky after you make a free throw?
On 9/11/02, my Godfather and uncle Bud Lawless died from a heart attack at the age of 44. He was playing basketball at the time. So that's to honor him.

When you watch a college women's basketball game on TV, who do you hope is doing the broadcast?
Anyone who's not annoying. I like most of the women who do it, but some of the men I don't like to listen to as much.

Besides any athlete, who is the most famous person you've ever seen or met?
I saw Mel Gibson, in downtown Chicago.

You list Dakota Fanning as your favorite actress. Two questions: 1) Are you serious? 2) Would you put your kid into show business?
Yes. And I'm not going to have any kids.

I would, if they really wanted to do it.

Any good LeBron James stories from your McDonald's All-American experience together in April 2004?
One day we were in the waiting room together and he was playing NBA Live. After a few minutes he called me over and asked me to play. I'm not really a video-game person, but I went over there and started playing, just pushing the buttons and not really knowing what I was doing. And I started beating him. I didn't know if he was letting me beat him or if I was some super-talented player. A few minutes later he said, "All right, let's start playing for real." And then he beat me by about 40 points.

What's it like sharing an apartment with teammate Natasha Bogdanova?
We get along really well. She doesn't know how to cook, though, so I have to cook for her a lot.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Boston, site of the 2006 NCAA Women's Final Four?
People with funny accents.
