WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue women’s basketball opens a six-game homestand Monday, hosting intrastate rival Ball State University in the second-longest non-conference series in program history. It marks the 25th all-time meeting between the Boilermakers and Cardinals, with Purdue holding a 19-5 series advantage, including 16 straight heading into Monday.

• Purdue lost at Geogia Tech in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge 68-55, falling to 2-10 all-time in the event
• The Boilermakers saw 16 turnovers converted into 23 points, including 19 in the first half
• Purdue made a season-low 52.4 percent at the free throw line
• Georgia Tech’s bench outscored Purdue’s 36-13
• Thursday’s loss at Georgia Tech marked the first time Purdue outscored their opponent in the paint and lost since falling to Michigan last season 72-62 (32-42 paint)

HEAD COACH Sharon Versyp
• Versyp is in her 18th season as a head coach and 12th on the Boilermaker sidelines, making her the longest tenured head coach in program history
• Her 242 wins at Purdue are the most in school history, and she is nine conference wins shy of matching Lin Dunn for the most Big Ten victories at Purdue
• Purdue has advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 9-of-11 seasons under Versyp, including each of the last two seasons, making the Boilermakers 1-of-23 programs in the country to accomplish the feat during the time frame



• Purdue opens a new month of play Monday, heading into December 195-84 all-time, including a 103-22 mark at home and a 52-24 mark under Versyp
• Purdue remains best in the Big Ten and No. 14 in the nation in 3-point shooting, hitting 41.6 percent from 3
• The Boilermakers are also second in the Big Ten and 35th in the nation in field goal percentage, hitting on 45.8 percent from the field
• When the Purdue starting lineup scores at least 50 points the Boilermakers are 5-0 this season
• Outrebounding their opponents has led to success for the Boilermakers, posting a 4-0 mark when grabbing more boards
• The Boilermakers are undefeated this season when Lamina Cooper, Dominique Oden, Karissa McLaughlin or Tiara Murphy score in double figures
• Purdue is also unbeaten this season when any individual dishes five assists or more
• Senior Andreona Keys has posted 20 points in back-to-back games for the Boilermakers, and looks to become the first Purdue player to do it in three straight since Brittany Rayburn in December of 2009

• Ball State comes to West Lafayette undefeated at 6-0, including wins over Vanderbilt and most-recently Butler
• Purdue and Ball State have the second-longest non-conference series in program history, and the Boilermakers’ 16-game win streak against the Cardinals is the longest active at Purdue
• The Cardinals are shooting 40 percent from the 3-point arc, including 41.9 percent by leading scorer Mariah Monaco, who is posting 18.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game
• Monaco is 1-of-5 Cardinals averaging double figures, including Carmen Grande, who ranks XX in the NCAA with 9.7 assists per game
• Purdue earned a 58-42 win at Ball State last season, holding the Cardinals to just 23.1 percent shooting
Dominique Oden had 15 points in the win, connecting on a trio of 3’s, while Andreona Keys posted 11 points, nine rebounds and six assists
Ae’Rianna Harris had her first career double-digit rebounding game, snaring 10 in just 21 minutes
