Preseason All-Big Ten Team Get Acrobat Reader

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Senior gaurd Courtney Moses was named to the preseason All-Big Ten team Thursday at Big Ten Media Day.  It is the first preseason all-conference honor for the Sweetser, Ind., native.

Moses enters her senior season averaging 12.0 points per game as well as 2.5 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game for her career.  She earned third-team all-conference honors last year while also being named to the Big Ten All-Tournament team after leading the Boilermakers to their second straight postseason tournament title.

Moses is one of four players to earn consensus preseason honors from both the media and the coaches.  Other consensus honorees include Maggie Lucas (Penn State), Jordan Hooper (Nebraska) and Rachel Banham (Minnesota).  Michigan State's Klarissa Bell earned the final spot in he coaches' poll while Iowa's Samantha Logic got the final spot from the media.  Lucas earned preseason player of the year honors from both entities.

Moses and the Boilermakers tip-off the 2013-14 season Sunday when they welcome Clarke University to town for an exhibition game.  The regular season begins Nov. 10 when the Boilermaker play Ball State in Mackey Arena.
