WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue women's basketball team has a new set of promotions and ticket deals for the 2013-14 season, starting with Sunday's exhibition game against Clarke University at 2 p.m. in Mackey Arena. The Boilermakers will offer upper level seating at a reduced rate this season, starting at $8 for adults, and all eight Sunday home games will feature a "Celebrate Sunday" ticket package.
Season tickets are still available at rates of $132 for adults and $59 for youth (in addition to a $10 legacy fee) in the lower bowl, and $80 for adults and $50 for youth (with a $5 legacy fee) in the upper bowl. Lower bowl seating is available on a single-game basis at $13 for adults and $6 for youth, while the reduced upper-bowl seats are $5 for youth.
Sunday's exhibition game is the first of eight "Celebrate Sunday" ticket specials, giving fans four upper-bowl tickets and a $20 food voucher for just $40.
"We know that Sunday's are a family day and we wanted to give them an opportunity to come to an event as a family," said Purdue head coach Sharon Versyp. "We do our best to come out and be a part of the community, and we hope the community wants to come to Mackey Arena and be a part of what we're doing as well."
Other ticket specials include Youth Team Day on Nov. 22 against Belmont, a Kids Club pizza party on Dec. 8 against IPFW and Elementary School Day on Dec. 28 against Central Michigan. The Nov. 22 game features $2 tickets for youth team members eighth grade and younger and a pregame talk from Versyp, while the Dec. 8 promotion includes pregame pizza and free throw shooting in Holloway Gymnasium and on Dec. 28 elementary school students receive $2 tickets.
The Boilermakers are especially excited about a promotion scheduled for the Jan. 6 game against archrival Indiana, hosting "Dunks After Work," a one-hour executive social opportunity that will feature Versyp and Purdue University President Mitch Daniels. To register for the event contact Michaela Patt (email@example.com), as attendance will be limited to the first 250 individuals. Groups of 20 or more can purchase $5 tickets for the game in addition to access the pregame promotion.
