CHICAGO, Ill. - Purdue women's basketball senior Courtney Moses will participate in the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships at 8 p.m. (CT) next Thursday at Moody Coliseum on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Intersport announced today. The 26th annual event, which will air live on ESPN, features 24 of college basketball’s top dunkers and long-range shooters.
Individual elements of the contest include: Quicken Loans Men’s 3-Point Championship, Buick Women’s 3-Point Championship, Echo Battle of the Champions and Denny’s Slam Dunk Championship.
Moses, who led Purdue in scoring with 15.5 points per contest this season, while shooting a sizzling 44.7 percent (80-for-179) from long distance, will compete in the Buick Women’s 3-Point Championship. A First Team All-Big Ten Conference selection in 2013-14, the 5-foot-6 guard closed out her storied career ranked 11th in Big Ten annals and first all-time in Purdue history with 240 threes. The sharp-shooter, who totaled 11 games with six or more three-point field goals in her career, set a NCAA Tournament record in 2012 by draining nine treys versus South Dakota State.
