NCAA Tournament Information‎ ‎

  • ‎ ‎WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - ‎Ninth-seeded Purdue takes on eighth-seeded Utah today in NCAA Tournament action in West Lafayette, Ind. The Boilermakers (18-14) and No. 18/17 Utah (27-4) will tip off at 7:07 p.m. EDT, and the game will be televised by ESPN2. It is the third of four NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament first-round games to be played in Mackey Arena on Sunday.

    Fans are encouraged to join the Purdue women's basketball pep band (Gold and Black Sound) and the Purdue cheerleaders for a pep rally to send off the team at 5 p.m. on Sunday outside the Hilton Garden Inn in the Wabash Landing in West Lafayette.

    Also playing in the second session from the Oklahoma City Regional will be top-seeded Tennessee (30-2) and 16th-seeded Oral Roberts (19-3) on Sunday at approximately 9:30 p.m. That game will be televised by ESPN2.

    Four other schools from the Oklahoma City Regional will compete on the Purdue campus, as well. Fourth-seeded Oklahoma (21-8) and 13th-seeded Illinois State (26-6) will square off in the first game of the day on Sunday at 12:12 p.m. (ESPN2), followed by fifth-seeded Notre Dame (23-8) and 12th-seeded Southern Methodist (24-8) at 2:42 p.m. (ESPN).

    The four winning teams will play second-round games Tuesday, March 25. Both second-round winners advance to face one another on March 30 in the Oklahoma City Regional Semifinal.

    Ticket Information: All-session (all six games) ticket prices are $38 for adults and $28 for students. Single-session (two games) ticket prices are $18 for adults and $11 for students. All fans, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter Mackey Arena. Groups of 15 or more can purchase all-session tickets for $24 each and while supplies last, a special offer of four single-session tickets plus popcorn is available for $44. Tickets can be purchased though the Purdue Athletic Ticket Office by calling (800) 497-7678 or (765) 494-3194, in person at the Intercollegiate Athletic Facility or by clicking here. Group rates are available only by calling the Purdue Ticket office.

     

     

    On Sunday, the ticket office will be open from 10 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. On Tuesday night, when winners of Sunday's matchups will play, tickets will remain on sale until 11:30 p.m. The ticket office opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. on Monday.
