WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Three members of the Purdue women's basketball team were honored by the Big Ten coaches and media for postseason conference awards.

The Big Ten head coaches voted Drey Mingo and Brittany Rayburn third team All-Big Ten while naming Courtney Moses to the All-Freshman Team. The media selected Rayburn to the third team while recognizing Mingo and Moses as honorable mention All-Big Ten.

Moses is just the eighth Boilermaker to be named to the Big Ten All-Freshman team and the first since Rayburn was tabbed in 2009. Purdue's three honorees are the most since four Boilermakers were recognized in 2009, led by first teamer, Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton.

Rayburn also was named Purdue's Big Ten Sportsmanship honoree, recognizing the student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These student-athletes must be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting.

Both the coaches and the media picked Michigan State head coach Suzy Merchant as the Big Ten Coach of the Year after she guided her squad to the regular season conference title.

The voting for Big Ten Player of the Year was split, with the coaches selecting Kalisha Keane of Michigan State and the media picking Jantel Lavender of Ohio State.

Penn State's Maggie Lucas was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year by both the coaches and media and was tabbed Sixth Player of the Year for her team-high 16.3 points per game off the bench.

Lykendra Johnson of Michigan State was named Defensive Player of the Year.
